At Apply Aide, we prioritize transparency, user control, and realistic expectations. While Apply Aide dramatically accelerates job application workflows, users should understand technical boundaries and platform constraints.

🤖 1. AI Content & Generation Limitations

• Human Review Required: Large Language Models (LLMs) can occasionally produce imprecise text or hallucinations. Always review AI-generated responses before submitting an application.
• Model Variability: Writing quality, tone adherence, and response speed depend on your selected AI provider and model (e.g. OpenAI gpt-4o vs Anthropic claude-3-5-sonnet).
• Provider Outages & Rate Limits: API availability, rate limits, and response quotas are controlled entirely by your chosen provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek).

💰 2. Token Consumption & Billing

• Direct Provider Billing: Every form autofill or text generation request consumes API tokens directly billed by your chosen provider.
• Context Length Impact: Large resumes or extensive Knowledge Base entries increase prompt token counts.
• Cost Transparency: Apply Aide does not mark up API calls or charge per-token fees.

While Apply Aide detects standard HTML inputs, compatibility varies depending on site architecture:

Hard Security Boundaries (Browser Enforced)

Apply Aide respects browser security protocols and never attempts to bypass:

• CAPTCHA / Cloudflare Turnstile
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Strict Content Security Policies (CSP)
• Anti-bot protections

Complex UI Components Requiring Manual Interaction

Form inputs utilizing proprietary or non-standard UI libraries may require manual completion:

• File Uploads: Browser sandboxes block programmatic file selection.
• Nested Cross-Origin IFrames: Embedded widgets hosted on third-party domains.
• Shadow DOM Containers: Encapsulated web components (e.g. custom React/Angular inputs).
• Rich Text Editors: Custom contenteditable canvas editors.

🔄 4. Provider Model Lifecycles

AI providers periodically deprecate, rename, or update model endpoints. If a provider deprecates a model:

• Apply Aide will notify you to select a newer active model in Settings.
• Apply Aide maintains compatibility with active provider APIs but cannot control third-party model deprecation timelines.
